A vulnerability in the proprietary protocol could allow an attacker to brute force the administrator password without restrictions, even when the SafeEnhancement feature is enabled.
Advantech has released a security update to address these vulnerabilities. Users and administrators of affected product versions are advised to update to the latest version immediately.
